About the Authors

Your support of the entire series of books is gratefully appreciated. Merrilee and Jason both have extensive experience in corporate America. Each has worked for over a decade for Fortune 500 companies.

Though they have both left the big company lifestyle behind, each has fond and humorous memories of their experiences which is what inspired their first book: Don't Misunderstand Me... I Think You're A Moron - Office Conversation Edition (Publisher - CleverLivingOnline.com, on sale November 30, 2007)

Peeling back the office rhetoric to people's real thoughts and meanings has proven an entertaining endeavor. Inspired by their natural sarcasm and a desire to bring humor to the office place, they began writing this hilarious first book. Feeling that the words needed faces, they added personality through their illustrations. The result is humor-filled and dare we say, sarcastic or perhaps brutally honest view of day to day misunderstandings at the office.

With the same humor and sarcasm, they next delved into relationship conversations with their second book Don't Misunderstand Me... I Love You... Most of the Time - Relationship Conversation Edition (Publisher - CleverLivingOnline.com, on sale November 30, 2007).

In this second book they took a humorous look at the mismatch between what we say and what we're really thinking and how it changes over time in a relationship. As with their first book, they peel back the conversation to the many meanings that simple words like "I love you" can really mean. Throughout all the stages of a relationship, there are thoughts you share and communicate and those little thoughts that pop up during the conversation that you keep to yourself. Those thoughts that you keep to yourself are usually a bit more detailed or perhaps edgier than what is actually being spoken. It's all the things you might like to say if your self-respect and the other person's feelings were not as relevant as they actually are.

The third installment in the runaway hit series is Don't Misunderstand Me...I want Your Vote - Polical Talk Edition (Publisher - CleverLivingOnline.com, on sale August 27, 2008). This book is a timely yet perpetual look at politicians and their buzz phrases, rhetoric and campaign promises - with a dose of sound bite thrown in for good measure. In keeping with the satirical, sarcastic and just plain humorous view of what is said and how it isn't exactly what was meant.

Merrilee and Jason are currently busy working on upcoming editions to the Don't Misunderstand Me series. Again, you're support of the series is gratefully appreciated.
